I do not understand their desire to conform.
They bellow and shout, like a thunderous storm.
Insisting they are different, while they reject another’s norm.
All the while,
I cling to my Lord,
refusing their form.
… …
They speak of cultural diversity,
Love, peace, justice, and unity.
But at every turn they abandon God.
Prohibiting Him from their miscellany.
… …
And the enemy whispers,
warping their mind.
… …
Twisting desires,
for the good of mankind.
… …
They set their path,
and plot their course.
… …
Marching forward,
unknowingly blind.
Twisting Desires, by James Dusenbery
